Marjoram Essential Oil
Latin name: thymus mastichina
This oil is known as Spanish Wild Marjoram
Oil extracted by steam distillation from the dried flowering herb

Properties:
Scent is spicy and herbal, similar to eucalyptus
Colour is pale yellow to pale amber

Uses:
Effective as an inhalant during the winter
Useful for most respiratory complaints
Has a soothing, warming effect on joints and muscles when used in massage
Its comforting warmth is useful in cases of grief
Effective treatment for insomnia

Other applications:
Can be used as in massage or in a hot compress over the abdomen to relieve menstruation cramps

Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitising
Must not be used during pregnancy
Not for babies, infants or children under 12
