Extraction by steam distillation using bark and wood chips

Properties:
Medium consistency
Strong, sweet, woody aroma slightly reminiscent of sandalwood
Colour is clear to pale yellow

Uses:
Tonic for mind, body as well as spirit
Good for skin care because of its astringent properties. It is antseborrheic (controls oily secretion from sweat glands) and is especially good for adolescent skin problems
Often used to relieve muscular and joint pain
Can calm nervous tension and relieve anxiety
Discourages moths and other insects

It is a powerful antiseptic and fungicidal

May irritate sensitive skin
